You don’t need advanced skills for Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru, but good fitness is crucial, especially for the challenging summit climb. Our routes are generally easy, with a few rock-scrambling parts. Don’t worry; our experienced guides are there to assist.

Renowned as the dwelling place of Mount Kilimanjaro, the world's tallest freestanding mountain and Africa's highest peak, Tanzania also boasts the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Serengeti National Park. This East African nation shares borders with Kenya and Uganda to the north, Rwanda and Burundi to the northwest, the Democratic Republic of Congo to the west, and Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique to the south. Its eastern frontier extends along the captivating coastline of the Indian Ocean, revealing a vast landscape of endless savannahs, majestic mountains, and breathtaking scenery.
The capital city, Dodoma, serves as the focal point for most international flights, alongside Dar es Salaam on the east coast. Although experienced climbers can reach the summit in as few as 5 or 6 days, caution is advised to counteract the effects of altitude sickness, a challenge that has thwarted many hurried summit attempts.

The journey commences with an ascent through the acacia forest, accompanied by the melodic calls of birds and other natural sounds. Progressing further, you enter a drier zone where the wind intensifies, and the surroundings feature sparse vegetation, including striking groundsels and lobelias. Continuing the trek, you navigate through tussocks while traversing the vast Shira Plateau, often witnessing a breathtaking view over a bank of clouds that separates you from the rest of the world.
